Everyone should be able to honor someone they love and help their family. We want Memorial Fund to work for everyone, including people who use assistive technology.
Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These are widely used standards for making websites easier to use for people with disabilities.
What We Do
- Use readable text sizes and strong color contrast.
- Support keyboard navigation and screen readers.
- Add descriptions to images and labels to buttons and forms.
- Respect reduced-motion settings, so animations pause for people who prefer less movement.
- Design every page to work on phones, tablets, and computers.
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is never finished. We test and improve as we go, and some parts of the site may not yet work perfectly for everyone.
